I am so sorry to here about Wesley. His Father was my Grandfather's twin brother, Lesley Grace. My Mother and Father always spoke so highly of Wesley and were very proud of him. I wish I had stayed in touch. He was dearly loved.

Sadly, I knew you for less than 10 years, Wesley, but during that short time, I came to love you dearly as a mother loves a son. You were one of the most kind, gentle and endearing individuals I have ever known. You were a model husband, father and grandfather. You had a passion for life. Your dedication to your profession and success of fellow engineers was evident when you tirelessly and in great pain fulfilled your last seminar assignment on earth. We will miss your greatly but are thankful God relieved you of your pain and suffering. Wesley was always a favorite cousin! His great smile and kind spirit are two things I will always remember about him. And how much he loved his beautiful wife, Brenda. Praying for the family.
One special intervention by another person can change one’s life and begin a life long journey. Wesley did that for me when he hired an upstart city planning student in 1976. That journey led to a community development career starting in Jackson and ended in Jackson with a side trip to Memphis in between. Married a Jackson girl and nine grandchildren later have started enjoying retirement with many friends. Thank you God for placing Wesley Grace in my path and the wonderful opportunity of working with a true professional and one of the best bosses ever. Elaine and Walter Mullins purchased the Enchanted Cottage for the family of Wesley Grace.
I had the privilege of working with Wesley for 19 yrs. while working at Grace and Associates. I can honestly say those were the best years of my life. It was like one big family. He was such a wonderful person and boss. There are so many great stories I could tell about those years and the wonderful people who worked with me.
