Virginia Diane Raycher's Obituary
Virginia Diane Dickerson Raycher left this earthly home and joined our Lord and Savior in Heaven on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Diane (as she is best known) was a young 66 years but will now live for eternity. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Grace Evangelical Church at 9750 Wolf River Blvd., Germantown, TN. 38139. A celebration service honoring Diane and her life will be held at 3:00 pm following visitation.Diane was born on December 1, 1946 as the daughter of Willie B. and Jessie Dickerson. Diane grew up in Jamesville, NC, graduated from Jamesville High School and began work for the Weyerhaeuser Company in Plymouth, NC. On August 16, 1970, she married Brian John Raycher, from Wyoming, and they have been married 43 years. Together they have lived happily, traveled extensively and raised a loving family. Son Jeff Raycher and wife Jenni live in Los Angeles, CA; daughter Jenny Everett and husband Eric and granddaughters Elizabeth and Morgan live in Eads, TN. She will be missed by many close friends and relatives. Diane is preceded in death by her parents; sister Joanie White; sister Angelene Gardner; and brother Eddie Dickerson. Her brothers Steve Dickerson and Mike Dickerson currently live in Jamesville. Diane loved Jesus, her family (was DeDe to awesome granddaughters), and life in general. She enjoyed cooking/baking, raising flowers and reading books. She truly “loved each and every day” and “lived life to the fullest”….. with a smile. Diane is a joy!
