My memory of Diane is when my husband, Gordon, son, Jeff, and I lived upstairs in one of the apartments across the hall from Diane’s family. We only lived in the old building which had once been owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. Glass. It once was a grocery store. After their tragic deaths from being in an accident while on the way back from California and Indiana where they had visited their children, Alma Hardison purched the building and turned it into apartments. Diane was several years younger than I am….about 5 years. The last time I saw her was when she was in high school. We did not live in the apartment long because we had to have a bigger place to stay so we moved after a few months to a house not far, but I just don’t remember seeing her after that. My heart goes out to her spouse, children, and grandchildren as well as her siblings and friends. May God comfort each and everyone of the ones who are grieving today for their loss, but it is God’s gain.
