Travis Dwyane Johnson, 73, died Sunday, August 20, 2017, after battling ongoing health illness. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Wanda Johnson, of Cordova, TN; his son, Greg Johnson of Lakeland, TN; four grandchildren, Derek, Taylo Read Obituary
Dear Wanda: So sorry and saddened by this news but so appreciative that you notified us. I have attempted to return your call. John had a terrible accident last week and is in a big fight himself. I have not told him yet. John really enjoyed being with Travis and considered him a friend. I won’t forget him commenting on my “slingshots” in the shed. You have my thoughts.
My prayers go out to Travis’ family. As a former Holiday Inn person, I’ve known and respected Travis for many years. He was always so good at his job and so nice to me. I was in the design department, and didn’t have a lot of interaction with him, but everyone loved Travis! I’ll never think of Motel Salvage without remembering who made it happen. God bless all his family.

To Wanda and family, we mourn your loss. We met Travis and Wanda while we wintered at Rolling Ridge over the last several years. We shared many stories of life and what his family meant to him. He will be missed. Blessings on your family and may the peace of God walk with you in the days ahead as he has walked with you all these years.
