I have such special memories of visiting Grand T in Tennessee growing up. He was a lawyer who deeply valued education and history, and every time I was with him, I felt like I was learning something new. He taught me the importance of respect for others, and I always looked up to him as someone so sophisticated and knowledgeable.
I’ll always remember his fantastic laugh and that great head of hair, along with the simple moments—like staying in the twin bedroom and reading the children’s books he kept for all of us grandkids. Those memories mean so much to me.
It’s especially meaningful now that my daughter, Kinsley, his great-granddaughter, hopes to become a lawyer just like him. His influence continues on in such a special way.
Grandpa T will be greatly missed.
