Thurman Tinker's Obituary
Thurman Tinker,92, passed away May 26, 2016 peacefully at Baptist East Hospital. He was preceded by his parents, Homer and Lelia Tinker; two brothers, Herman and Donald Joe Tinker; three sisters, Irene Hardin, Betty and Jackie Tinker. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Margaret, his family of eight daughters, Sandy Tinker, Betty Russell (Mike), Ann Vinson, Pat Anthony, Brenda Short (David), Beverly Farrell (Richard), Becky Mahaffey (Kevin) and Shelly Ellis, 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. He was a WWII veteran, founding member of CrossRoads United Methodist Church and a friend to all. The visitation will be held at CrossRoads United Methodist Church from 12:30-1:00PM with the service to immediately follow at 1:00PM
