Terry W. Phelps' Obituary
Lt. Terry W. Phelps, 64, passed away at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville on Thursday, March 19, 2015. Lt. Phelps was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Memphis State University. He was a retired Lieutenant from the Memphis Police Department after 24 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Pam Phelps, two daughters, Terri Phelps Blackford and Amanda Phelps, one son, Kevin Phelps, five sisters, Shirley Nail, Mildred Gump, Jeannette Cook, Kay Carter, Gay Hughes, three brothers, Charles Phelps, Sammy Phelps, and Jerry Phelps, and three grandchildren, Abby, Caleb, and Alexis. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
