Mr. Phelps was always a joy to care for, he was kind, respectful & appreciative. He was a trooper, brave & strong. Never did he complain, lash out or treat others wrong. His demeanor was quiet, sweet, laid back, roll with the tide, go with the flow. He always had a smile to share, his eyes were so sincere. The love he had for his wife was so very dear. She was his best friend, moved into the hospital every time he returned. When entering his room, it was no surprise, to find them cuddled up in his bed. They walked the halls hand & hand, shared many a food tray, they were an inspiration to us all. His children & grandchildren were always gathered around, they brought joy to his eyes & pride to his soul. He was very blessed, surrounded by loving support. He will be missed by so many, including all on 7North.His Care Partner, Donna Johnson
Peanut was my buddy brother in law living across Pecanhill. We worked together many a day building his huge garage. We spent the whole summer pulling nails out of used lumber from demolished homes in midtown. That was a long hot summer. He was there for me whenever I needed help. My thoughts go out to his family, and may God bless them. Jim K.
A Cop’s Cop and a sheepdog in truest sense, we will miss you Uncle Terry. Your entire family has been so proud of you and all that you have accomplished. You have truly been an inspiration.“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:4-6 NKJVBobby Phelps Charlotte, NC
