He led my family to faith in Jesus and baptized all of us. We have never been the same, thank you! I’m in the ministry now for over 25 years.
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Steve Wilkes. He was a good friend, a strong supporter of church growth, and a constant encourager. We first met Steve through our mutual involvement in the Great Commission Research Network (formerly the American Society for Chruch Growth). It was always a delight to see him and listen to his great sense of humor. The meetings will not be the same without him. Thank THE LORD for Dr. Steve Wilkes’ life and ministry for the Gospel ! He led a mission team to Kiev and other cities in Ukraine in 1992 which I was privileged to be a part of as an M. Div. student. Thank THE LORD for his fire and zeal for the Gospel, for souls, for revival. GOD Bless and comfort all of the family, relatives, and friends in this time. He will be greatly missed !
