Stephen Wayne Clark's Obituary
A Vietnam Veteran Hero, PFC Stephen Wayne Clark, 70, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at his home in Cordova, TN. He proudly served our country in the United States Army from August 2, 1967 until November 6, 1968, when he was medically retired for wounds received in battle during his deployment to Vietnam. During his time in service he received the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.Steve is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Jackson; his three grandchildren, Brooklynn,Charlie, and Reggie of Drummonds, TN; his siblings, Debi Trotter of Memphis, TN, Catherine Johnson of Bartlett, TN, John Lawrence (Candy) of Cumberland, MD and several nieces and nephews.Steve was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his mother, Verttie Lee; his brother, John Larry; sister-in-law, Peggy; his sister, Donna and nephews, Dale, John, and David.Memorial donations can be made to the “Wounded Warriors Project”.
