He removed my thyroid in 2003. He always prayed with you and whistled a little tune. He was as fresh at night as early in the morning. He was a fine physician. Prayers to you all. Pam

I am so sorry for your loss. My name is Kate Conn, and Dr. Smith was my angel surgeon for my double mastectomy in 2013. I will always remember his kind words, and prayer before going into my surgery. He took a scary moment and made it ok. Your family is in my prayers. God Bless.
I just received a letter stating that Dr. Smith had passed away. I only knew him for a short time, but he left a lasting impression on me. I always feared having to go in for surgery, but after I met Dr. Smith he assured me that he had help in the surgery room and that help was The Lord. I was scheduled for surgery and was in waiting area when I received a phone call that my mother had passed. I continued with the surgery and Dr. Smith prayed with me and for me. He reassured me that everything would be alright. To Dr. Smith’s family you have my deepest sympathy and I know that Dr. Smith is still smiling.
Dr.Smith I Can Say You Change My Life By Being Christ Like..Honest ..Friendly..When I First Met You.. Put Your Arms Around Me and My Daughter…Went Over The Procedure..And I Was in Denial For A Year..When U Said God Got Control..That Made Me Feel Like I Could Go Forward..I Just Was On The Phone Talking To A Friend And Said Dr.Smith Prays Before Surgery..And I Never Heard Anyone Say That..Then I Typed His Name In And Discovered He Had Taken His Wings..My Heart Was Sadden… But I Said Death Comes Like A Thief In The Night..I Thank God For You..Prayers From The Rubin Family!
Doc Smith was my family’s surgeon. Facing surgery was comforted by his sweet spirit knowing he gave Jesus the Wheel. I feel so blessed to have known him
