Mrs. Carlile was like a second mother to me and if the truth be known between Carol and Speedy, I was her favorite. Rubye was the mother with eyes in the back of her head (we’ve all known mothers like this) and knew every form of mischief Carol and I were into-before we did. Mrs. Carlile taught me what it was like to be a good student, a good mother, and a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. I love you Mrs. Carlile and I will miss you always. Chesshire
