Though it was challenging to keep up with the basketball schedule back in the '80s, those games are my fondest memories. What fun we had traveling with the team on Thanksgiving and other times. Wayne and I also cherished the times we just spent eating out or at their house laughing and talking about life's journeys beyond the basketball court. We observed what great parents Alan and Freda were....so patient with the kids and really listening to them. It was the best of times in our life and I am thankful for it...especially for the special folks we walked with - Alan and Freda for sure. I will never forget Alan's special smile...always so genuine and at times even mischevous! I hope by now, Alan, you have found Wayne and that you have experienced many of the wonders of the promises the Lord gave us for this life transition. Life to life.
