All I know is this BEAUTIFUL family, both Ron & Gail welcomed me when I married their good friend Steve McAden. They were warm & welcoming & some of the nicest people I’d ever met. Gail, I am praying for your loss – my prayers of peace & comfort are with ALL of you. Y’all are very special to Steve & I. We absolutely love this family!!
Ron, for some unknown reason, accepted me as a friend ( then later as a son-in-law ) from the first time I we met. I cannot remember ever having a cross word with him, or ever not enjoying his company. Whether it was at a family meal, or rooting for rival football teams while watching a game he was always a pleasure to be around. My last detailed memory of Ron is a day we spent together going out for a big breakfast, followed by an hour or so watching little children play at a park playground. It was a lovely early fall day, and we shared a lot of laughs watching the young ones running, laughing, climbing, falling, and basically being happy children. Watching them made us happy, too.As I recently said on Facebook, the only flaw I ever say in the man was his choice of football teams to support. But that gave us reason to argue while watching games. I can overlook a “flaw” like that.Ron was a good man in my book, and will allways be missed.
You were indeed one of the best Postal Inspectors we have ever had the privilege to know and work with. Your loving, caring ways will be missed but long remembered. Rest in peace Ron. We loved you. Phyllis & Cliff Vincent

Gail, So sorry to hear of your loss – the second loss this week from the class of ’52. I will never forget that we shared a wedding day at Sacred Heart. Marlis
