I will always remember Steve as my Teacher, Lindy. He was Scott's Mentor and best friend. We enjoyed so many good times over in your back yard. Always remember we will see our Good Men again one day! Love you, Debbie
Steve was a great guy. I knew him from the Sheriff's Office where he was a reserve deputy and his brother, Jackie, was a deputy.
I loved Steve I called him my cousin when talking about him but really Lindy is my cousin I was just proud that he was part of my family. I meet Steve when he and Lindy were dating I think he was 17 and I was 13 , he let me drive his Volkswagen and he was a good athlete at basketball and baseball in high school, I thought he was so cool !
Steve and I had a lot of common interests, we both loved the tigers and the cardinals, (He took me to the World Series to see the cardinals win it against the Tigers )we both like to complain about dumb politicians and we loved to brag about our families. He and I had many great conversations but the one’s I will remember the most are the ones we had about the Lord. Steve loved Jesus and loved studying the Bible to know Him better. We had many discussions about the Bible and he loved teaching it . As scripture tells us Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron,
So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Steve sharpened me , i will miss him!
