Robert J Hoelscher's Obituary
Robert Julian Hoelscher II passed away December 11, 2014. He was the son of Dr. Jack W. and Barbara Stotts Hoelscher. He leaves a sister, Holli Hoelscher Simon (Jonathan); nieces, Sarah and Ann Everett Simon; nephews, Timothy, Michael and Andrew Meggs. Robert also previously married to Ginny Burks Hoelscher. He also leaves his aunt, Patricia Hoelscher Holliday Craddock and many cousins, and his birthmother Janis De Lara. He was predeceased by his sister, Anne Hoelscher Meggs; grandparents, Robert Julian and Nell Cahill Hoelscher, and Omer and Clara Stotts. Robert attended Evangelical Christian School where he played football and Baylor University where he obtained a degree in computer science. He traveled with George Strait for many years and has been employed by FedEx for the past 14 years. He also devoted countless hours as a sound engineer for Hope Presbyterian Church, First Assembly of God, and Highland Heights. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00p.m., Tuesday, December 16,2014 at Memorial Park with service to immediately follow.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the charity of the donor’s choice.
