Reading all of these kind comments makes you smile… it just goes to show what a kind-hearted soul Robert was to all. I had the privilege of working with Robert at FedEx and he was so gifted and dedicated in his field and his faith and love for God showed through in everything he did. His knowledge of technology was incredible. His shoes will be hard to fill and he will be greatly missed by so many friends, family & co-workers. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time. Praying that God will give you peace knowing Robert is whole again and with our precious Lord and Savior. God bless you all.

My parents and I were graciously invited to spend a couple days at the lake with Robert and Ginny at the cabin several years ago. I had never been taught how to water ski but, God-willing, Robert would try to do just that. Was I able to? No.. But had my friend made it seem a little more difficult, not able to do it right off the bat making me embarrassed that I just couldn’t get it, I’m sure I would have done just fine! Shows how much I wanted to learn..but thank you Robert, for being a wonderful friend to our family from the beginning to the end. You will be greatly missed!!

Jack and Barbara- I am so sad and I am so sorry. I am praying for God’s comfort and peace for you. Robert was such a special friend to me. I loved him. If I could speak to him again I would say, “Rob Ho…what a kind and gentle soul you were. I remember starting high school with you and we were both the “new kids.” I remember lots of long phone calls as we tried to navigate life and “figure things out” as teenagers and young adults. You were always such a patient listener and an understanding friend. I remember going to an eclectic variety of concerts with you. You shared your love of music with your friends. I remember looking forward to seeing you over the holidays during college so we could catch up on what was going on in each other’s lives. You were always a gentleman and such a thoughtful and generous friend. I remember many deep conversations with you about God and our questions about why things were the way they were. You were a deep thinker and a deep “feeler”. This is the glorious way that God created you to be. I am so thankful for the friendship that we had during those years. It truly was a gift. There is a bond there that I know many of our classmates and friends also share with you. My heart is broken but I am learning to rejoice in the thought that you are now completely free from pain. Jesus has dried all of your tears and you are with HIM forever. This thought gives me great comfort and great joy in the midst of my great sadness. I met Robert when he began working at FedEx. He was always a kind person and his Christianity was evident. I had a lot of respect for him and am sorry to hear of his passing. May the Lord provide comfort for his family and friends.

There was nothing he wouldn’t do for you. I was in a car accident and shaken up pretty bad. Robert came to my rescue and stayed with me the whole time. He made sure my car was drivable before he left and followed me home. I knew I could always count on him. Such a sweet soul! Kathleen Engel
