To Rob’s family, I am so very sad to hear of Rob’s passing. I’ve had the pleasure of playing with Rob in the Dyersburg and Jackson orchestras. Dear Linda and all other family and friends who also mourn his passing, What a shock!!! I am so sorry for your/our loss. I have known Robbie since I was a child…Becky Fruchtman and I played with him often in the halls of the MSU music building while our parents worked. I am so sad that I will no longer be able to see him, to converse with him…he had uncommon warmth and friendliness. Though it has been a long time since I have seen him, I remember his disarming smile so well. Rest in peace, friend Robbie.
