Rick Deegler's Obituary
ALBERT RICHARD DEEGLER, 71, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014. ‘Rick’ was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Albert and Rosemary Fantacone Deegler of Cinnaminson, New Jersey on September 23, 1942. After graduating from Utah State University, he served as a pilot in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War where he developed a lifelong passion for flying. After settling down and residing in Germantown, TN for almost 40 years, Rick raised his family, started his own company, and worked for Crye-Leike Realtors. When he was not out selling houses, you could find him working in his vegetable garden or cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and the University of Memphis Tigers basketball team.Rick is survived by his wife Carol of 47 years, son Matthew and his wife, Lisa of Broomfield, Colorado, daughter Christine, brother Van Deegler and his wife, Marcia of Stowe, MA, and his five adored grandchildren, Connor, Chase, Andrew, Sara-Britton, and Hadley; as well as many extended family members and friends.The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 22 starting at 10:30, followed by a memorial service starting at 11:30.
