I first met Randy when his shop was in cloverleaf center and I was just immediately hooked on the shop with all the coolest latest raddest BMX stuff I had only seen in magazines etc, he helped me get started in racing and would always give good advice to anyone, he was kind, friendly, funny and accommodating to everyone, I still have parts on two bikes I raced that came from either Randy or wheeler dealer. In the mid 80s Randy sponsored our trick team and we had two quarter pipes and a kick ramp or two that stayed in his parking lot on stage and we would load them up on a trailer and he would take us and the ramps all over the place doing shows at fairs or festivals, parking lots, races just anywhere, still remember him chewing me out one time testing the ramps before a show without a helmet on, he pulled me over to the side behind the ramps and told me there are 200 kids here that didn’t come to see you crush your skull in today etc, he made his point, I think about him a lot and always memories I think my fondest ones was just hanging out in the back of the shop just taking it all in - yep the good ole days - Thank you for the ride Randy ! Peace my friend see you on the other side
