Dr. Veluswamy was both mine and my husband doctor for over 25 years. I was so sorry when I was told she was no longer at Gulf Coast. We only went there because of her. When she closed her practice we were at a loss. Going from doctor to doctor, trying to find a doctor as wonderful, gracious and caring as she was. I greatly missed her. We would sit and talk, sometime longer than we should’ve. I lived in Beaumont and didn’t mind the trek to Nederland or Port Arthur. She was the epitome of what being a great doctor looked like. I thank God for her being in our lives. I’ve since found a doctor a longer trek away than she was, who also embodies the same spirit of love and care for her patients. I wished more doctors were like her. I loved her, not just as a doctor, but as a loving caring human being. Thank you family for sharing her. I was at chase bank and remembered when we had bumped into each other their and decided to google her, as I’ve done many times, praying she was still with us. The world has loss one of the best!
