Porter Hall Cooper's Obituary
Porter Hall Cooper, 74, of Germantown, Tennessee, passed away on September 23, 2021.
Porter was born on March 22, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee to Marjorie R. Gray and Porter E. Cooper. He was a graduate of Whitehaven High School Class of 1965, attended the University of Tennessee Martin and was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the US Navy.
Porter was an avid outdoorsman, avid duck hunter and loved antiques.
Porter was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah A. Cooper, parents, Porter E. Cooper and Marjorie R. Gray, his brother, Alan G. Cooper.
Porter is survived by his children, Patrick Cooper, Porter Evans Cooper, Phyllis Hayley (Ronnie) Mullinnix, Scott (Jessica) Corbitt, Lisa (David) Mays, sister, and his Jennifer Cooper Todd of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl. Eleven grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Amanda, Kristen, Jonathan, Jordon, Tucker, Brooke, Whitley, Colin, Kaden, and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held On Friday, October 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, (Garden of the Cross), please follow the yellow arrows to the gravesite.
