So many memories of this great friend but the ones that stand out were our employment at Montgomery Ward in Jackson, TN. especially when we were trying to balance the cash office drawers and safe. We shared a lot of heartache and also lots of joy. I will forever miss her and her zest for life and happiness. RIP my sweet friend.

Ms. Phyllis raised my best childhood, church sister friend, EBA school friend & adult sister friend for life, Melanie. She believed in us kids at Beverly Hills Baptist Church…that no matter what we would do in life, we would always rely on our faith & in each other. Now, she looks down on us as the newest Angel in God’s arms & we all should live up to that belief she had. Rest in peace, Ms. Phyllis.
