I enjoyed all the years knowing Paul. We worked together for 10 years, that went by too fast. He was there when I needed him and I hope he is at peace now. I am happy to have known him. Harold Simmons

Paul was a good friend, supervisor and mentor to me from the time we met. I give him credit for mentoring me during my seventeen plus years working for him at J. Strickland Company. He became a personnel friend as well as a friend to my family. He will surely be missed by those of us who knew him.Arthur R. Shelton

Starting barely a year out of college, I was blessed to have Paul as my boss for five years from 1984 to 1989, and he was the best boss I ever had before and since. He believed in me when I was a green and inexperienced kid, gave me lots of freedom and enthusiastically supported me. I learned so much from him, including how to have fun and enjoy life as well as work. And I know how important you were as his family because he spoke of you often. May you find comfort in the memories you have of a man who was truly bigger than life, and comfort in knowing your memories and loss are shared by others. God bless you.
My condolences to the Cockrill family for the loss of your dear loved one. We can find comfort in Jesus words found at John 5:28,29. This promise lets us know we can see our love ones again here on earth. (Revelation 21:3,4.) May Jehovah the God of comfort help you in this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4.)
