Nellye Pierce's Obituary
Nellye Parker Pierce went to be with her Lord on September 17, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Sammy Lee Shelby of over 20 years and her most recent husband of 22 years, Harl Dean Pierce. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Nancy Wilson (Russell) and Susan Hill (Roger), and stepson, Dan Pierce (Mindy) and 2 stepdaughters, Natalie Barringer (Doug) and Karen Pierce. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Nellye worked for many years in banking. After retiring she enjoyed spending time with Harl.
One of her greatest attributes in life is that she loved you, and you knew it! She loved her family and friends and the times she treasured most were those she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nellye was loved by all and will be missed so much.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 8350 Walnut Grove Rd. Cordova, Tennessee 10:00 am visitation and 11:00 am Service.
