We will miss our dear, dear Nellye. Nellye helped raise my children, she helped keep our household together, she was a true friend, and she became part of our family. We are so thankful for the many special times we shared with Nellye and Harl.
For 50 years I was able to be a friend and watch Nellye light up any room, give good advice, and add positivity to any situation in life. She loved to cook, keep an immaculate house, be a beautiful person, and be with those she loved. And she shared her love with so many.

Chris and I are so fortunate to have experienced your love. We all shared so many amazing moments together. You were always strong, kind and honest. You told me “like it was”, especially when I needed it most. You made a tremdous impact in my life. I found strength through you, Nellye. And it is now, with this gift from you I am able to carry you within and continue to be strong. I feel blessed to have just spent time with you and your precious girls while honoring Harl at his memorial. You all were so very close. Another blessing I admire. My prayer is that strength, compassion and peace be with your girls, family, and all who admired and adored you. I love you, Nellye. And I will miss you with all my heart.
