Nelda Bomar's Obituary
Nelda Bomar, Memphis, TN, age 93, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026 just shy of her 94th birthday that would have been May 29th, 2026.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Carlos D. Lowery and Irene Holder Lowery, her husband, Reuben Bomar and her son Cliff Bomar. She leaves behind her brother Dexter Lowery and her daughter Cindy Maurizi (Raymond).
She was a stay at home Mom most of her years but went to work when Cindy was out of highschool. She was a store manager at Dinstuhl’s Candies here in Memphis. She retired from there after many years of much enjoyed work.
Nelda was a long time member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Memphis, TN.
Her love language was cooking for people during their time of need no matter what that might have been.
A visitation will be held, Friday May 15th from 10:00-11:00am with services to follow at 11:00am at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
