For 11 years, Nelda was far more than a neighbor; she was a cherished confidante with whom we shared life’s joys, tears, and endless conversations. Characterized by her quick wit and a charmingly stubborn streak, she held a deep affection for her home, her neighbors, and her neighboorhood. While most of her birthdays were marked by quiet,visit and a few treats, her 92nd milestone brought the entire neighborhood together to celebrate her remarkable life. Nelda’s heart was always with her family, friends, and church community, where she served as a devoted prayer warrior for anyone in need. An avid reader, her love of books sparked so many wonderful conversations. While heaven has gained an angel, we have lost a deeply treasured friend. Susan & Brian Yurgil and family
