Melba C. Moxley's Obituary
Melba C. Moxley, 92, passed from this life on April 10, 2024. Proceeding her in death was Eugene Thomas Moxley (husband), Annette Moxley-Scott (daughter), Otera Rowell and Gerald Cowell (siblings), and B.W. and Irene Cowell (parents).
A life-long resident of Memphis, Melba was a 1950 Tech High School graduate. She was a buyer for Sears Department Store and later retired from Schering Plough. She was an active member of Ellendale Baptist Church and enjoyed taking senior trips, game days, and monthly luncheon.
She is survived by a son, Gene Moxley (Karen) of Bartlett, TN. She leaves 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. all in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ellendale Baptist Church or Crossroads Hospice.
