Tonight I was writing on the pictures of my mom, Jimmie Sneed. This picture was from my mom's retirement party. She was telling me that she had been trying to call Melba but couldn't locate her. I googled her name. Mom is very sad to learn of Melba's death. Melba is standing to the left of my mom in this picture. Thresea Wright
She was such a sweet Christian lady and I loved her sweet husband whom I had the pleasure of working with at the Memphis Police Department back in the late 60’s-early 70’s. Didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Melba until joining Ellendale Baptist Church and I’m so thankful I finally got to meet her and get to know her — a special lady indeed.
We all loved seeing melba every Saturday at the beauty shop..She was a very special lady and loved visiting w everyone..Miss her so much
Such a beautiful, sweet woman! I feel very blessed to have had her in my life💙. I thought of her as a very special friend, who loved sharing about her grandkids w/ me. She will be missed, but I know for sure I will see her again🙏😇
