Mary Ann was one of my dear friends who you can count on your finger as loyal and who kept in touch until she went to heaven. She, Joann , & I all got into trouble as teenagers and all 3 Mothers were in touch with each other.Yes, Mary Ann's Mother spoke yo my Mother and I was grounded for two weeks. We were like the 3 musketeers. We all enjoyed eating M&M"s, rotel dip, and strawberry daiquiris. Mary Ann liked the red M&M's, I liked the blue M&M's & Joann liked the blue colored one too, but she took any other colored ones. I was so excited when I got my first 59 Ford standard automobile and I went to pick Mary Ann up at her house on James Road. The 3 musketeers all headed to Filiburger on Frayser Blvd. where I worked and many Trezevant HS friends hung out. Mary Ann got me hooked on getting a rescue dog, which was my first chihuahua. It was love at first sight. Mary Ann's dogs were so beautiful and so loved by her. She had a heart of gold toward her family, friends, and her dogs. She is an angel in heaven no longer in pain or suffering who will be missed by her brother David Strickland & his wife, Judy, Betty Strickland, and friends in Tennessee and Florida. I will be at your funeral in spirit, so RIP Mary Ann, until we meet again in heaven.
