Mary Jo Pinner's Obituary
MARY JO PINNER, 68, long-time resident of Memphis, and member of Getwell Church of Christ, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born January 20, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama, daughter of the late Stanley and Louise Bennett. She spent her early and high school years in Corinth, MS, was a graduate of Freed Hardeman University, Draughons Business College, and retired from Dobbs International Services, Inc. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Pinner; daughter, Kimberly Davis; step daughter, Penny DeShields; two grandsons; four granddaughters; brothers, Sherrill (Suzanne) Bennett, Searcy, AR, Dolton (Martha) McAlpin, Starkville, MS; sisters, Ruth Chaney, Covina, CA, Betty Eastin, Garden Grove, CA, Sandy (Mitch), Bostrom, San Clemente, CA, Johnnie Villegas, Huntington Beach, CA, and her Pinner family of sisters, brother, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Selby Williams. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 12 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
