What a sweet lady! Always treating us like family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Thank you Jesus for sharing this child of yours with us.
Our family was so blessed to have Mary Jo as our sister. Our hearts are heavy, but we have memories of her that will live forever. Mary Jo was so proud of her family and often spoke of how lucky she was to have Tom, and Kim and her grandchildren. Mary Jo never met a stranger, had lots of friends, and seemed to know people where ever she traveled. People always remembered her. A woman with a gigantic personality, she knew everybody’s names, their stories, was always truly interested, and people talked to her. Mary Jo found humor and fun in everything around her and she made us all laugh. You could always tell when she was going to crack a joke or make a funny remark because she would look serious, then begin to smirk, and out would come something hilarious. She had a treasure trove of funny southern sayings and we would wonder how could she come up with these things so fast. Mary Jo was beautiful, talented, and unique. She has inspired us all with her strength, bravery, candidness, friendship, acceptance, and love. I will miss her so much. Rest in peace my wonderful sister.Betty Eastin
