Mary was an extremely helpful, patient, and joy filled colleague. I didn't get to talk to her face to face very much but she always helped me advise our students. I'm going to have a hard time not reaching out to her for assistance. However, I am very thankful for knowing her and learning from her example. I am pleased to know that she is my sister in Christ and is enjoying a perfect relationship with our Lord and Savior.

Mary was a good person. We met 30 years ago when we both worked at the U of Memphis, and were colleagues for a few years. She would give me rides home from work sometimes and we would talk about our kids. It made me happy to hear how much she loved her daughters and later her grandchildren. For the last few years, our only contact has been on Facebook and I enjoyed keeping up with her family as she shared pictures and stories about them. I'll miss the music videos she has shared in recent times so much, she always picked out good songs. Rest in Peace, Mary, and my deepest sympathy to her family and others who loved her.
Mary was one of the most loving people I've ever known. She always had new pictures of her grandkids to show and stories to tell about what they were doing. There are so many students who wouldn't have graduated without Mary caring as much as she did and making sure she exhausted all options to help them. She had an amazing smile and sense of humor and will be missed terribly.
I extend my condolences to Mary's family. I am and will miss her as long as my memory is in tact. Her friendliness, willingness to support and go the extra step made my time with her at The University Of Memphis a better experience. She will be missed and The College of Arts and Sciences have huge shoes to fill. She has helped me and so many students beyond what her job requirements stated. Always above and beyond and always made me smile. I will miss that smile, but she has touched my life and for that I am grateful she was for the short 20 years I've known her better because she was there. Thank you for sharing her with us and my love and empathy go to you who loved her most.
I went to school with Mary, She was a good friend with a huge heart and a wonderful smile. I knew her as ZULU. We had a lot of fun times, We we're always up to something mischievous but we we're really good girls. Once we locked a mean Kid in a locker at school, Needless to say we got in a little trouble but it was worth it wasn't Mary, You will be missed but I know your in Heaven with everyone who has gone before us.. I will see you again one day, Until that time I will watch over your daughter, She has that same huge heart and smile. Miss you my friend.
