Martha Louise Bain, 97, passed away June 22, 2017.Martha Louise Bain, age 97, died June 22, 2017. She grew up in Dickson, TN, and graduated from Vanderbilt University. Martha was the beloved wife of Chapman Bain for 57 years and a wonderful mother to their two children. She taught Art and Art History at Hutchison for 26 years. She was a member of Riveroaks Reformed Presbyterian. Martha leaves her daughter, Melinda Rhett (Rowe), and son, William Bain (Beverly), 4 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, June 26, at 2:00, at Memorial Park, followed by the service at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to her church or a charity of the donor’s choice.The services have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life….Behind the Stone Wall.”
