I had to look up something under my name and saw your MOM’s obituary. My name is Margie Meckel now Margie Meckel Skolaut and wanted to express my condolences. My mom was on her way to 104 also – that was certainly her plan but GOD had a difference plan. We lost her in 2012 – one month shy of 99. Again – so sorry for your loss. Dear Mimi, I have many lovely memories of your Mother. Some are from the days when we were Girl Scouts. I remembered one meeting we had in the back yard of Highland Park place, under the Willow tree; was that Girl Scouts or DAD?
