Marie Marchetti's Obituary
Marie Marchetti, 94, of Memphis, TN, peacefully passed away on November 24, 2024. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she created a life rich in love and cherished traditions.
At a young age, Marie married her soulmate, Robert Marchetti, and together they built a beautiful life and family. She poured her heart into each new generation, sharing her love for baking, crocheting, and creating unforgettable family meals. Her handmade quilts and vintage holiday cookie tins will remain treasured memories.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Tina (Quin) Berry and Edie (Jim) Smith, her grandchildren, Zachary (Ashley) Berry, Brian Berry, Candi (Blake) Graves, and Christina (Jeff) Albritton, great-grandchildren Anne Marie (Hunter), Mackenzie (Travis), Zachary Jr., Jack, Ashlyn (Cole), Drew, Baylor (Hallee), Jake (Reagan), Raley, Lily, and Annie, and great-great-grandchildren, Wade, Caden, Waylon and Nina. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert, and parents, Fred and Edith Vella.
Services for Marie will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends for visitation an hour prior the service starting at 10:00am.
Marie's unwavering love and devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
