Lane was friends with my mother, Linda Forrester, before I was even born. We even became friends in my thirties. My favorite memory is when we spent a weekend in Nashville during December. We saw the Rocketts and the beautiful Christmas lights and had a wonderful time.
I regret that I did not visit her after she moved into assisted living and before she entered hospice care. I did not even know that she had passed away two months ago. I ust happento see her obituary online last night. I hate that a missed her service at Grace St. Luke's Church. Lane was a fine Christian woman, and I will certainly miss her.
My condolences to her son, Larry, her grandchildren, Jack and Laura, and her sister, Anne. I will be praying for all of you.
