Margaret always had a sweet smile and an encouraging word. Her hymn arrangements still echo in my mind, decades after I moved away. I thank God for her generous spirit. She gave and gave and gave of her time and talents through Bellevue, and I was blessed to be there to learn from her and worship with her during a few of her many years.
Margaret was one of the best music collaborators with whom I have ever worked.
She was such a blessing to so many, and a joy to be around. I am so grateful for her musical influence in my life and performance career.
What a blessing it was to experience both Margaret’s sweet spirit and exceptional music ability during the time I was on staff at Bellevue. When I left to go work with churches in the Bahamas she made me a cassette tape of her playing my favorite hymns. She surely shared her love for Christ in a very special way!
Our loss is heaven’s gain. Margaret and I shared our love of music since the early sixties. She was a fabulous accompanist and even better friend. We shared many great times playing for Singing Christmas Tree and Passion Play productions at Bellevue. Such a quick wit which just bespoke of her outstanding intellect! Margaret’s beautiful piano arrangements were a blessing to all who were privileged to hear them for 35 years at Bellevue . Margaret was just an example to everyone of Christian living and admired and respected by all. It was my joy to be her friend.
