Gone but NOT forgotten! Tomorrow 0n 8-18-18; will mark 2-years since the home-going of Ms Kittie Lowe; my adopted grandmother. I just wanted the city of Memphis Tn to know that everyone NEED a “Ms. Lowe, next door”! (Smile) That was my late husband’s favorite saying for our dear neighbor, friend, and our OWN personal “adopted grandmother”. My entire family loved her dearly but we know that the Good Lord loved her MOST and that’s why He chose to pick that beautiful flower from this earthly garden; and bring her home to be in that “eternal lilies of the beautiful garden in heaven”!

I truly do miss Ms. Lowe. She was my adopted grandmother! I’ve know her for 25 years. We both were Widows. I can remember before the passing of my husband; Rickey. He would always say: “Everybody NEEDs a Ms. Lowe next-door”. And that was because she always looked after us checking who came in out of our driveway! And we looked after her as well! I couldn’t have had a better neighbor! I love her and I miss calling her everyday checking on her! The neighborhood just doesn’t seem the SAME! Rest in peace Ms. Lowe! Dear Barbara and Mike, The memories of your parents run so deep for Ann and me. I told Jennifer about occasions as a child being with Tom and Kitty. Ann reminded me of a trip she and I made before we were married (58 years ago) to their place on Horseshoe Lake. They both meant so much to our family. Kitty would always be so delighted when in recent years Ann and I would stop by to visit. We always wished the visits had been more frequent. The “Celebration” service Sunday was an outstanding tribute to an outstanding woman, wife and mother. We appreciated the music and the minister’s very personal remarks. It was nice to meet Jerry. We had known of him but never met him. The fact he would come and bring his entire family was quite a tribute to both Kitty and Tom. We have many beautiful memories to enjoy the rest of our days.
