Jeannie,Eddie and family, my heart goes out to your loss of such a sweet lady. I carpooled her to school for several years and have many memories of her stories of her children and grandchildren. She loved her family most of all. I regret that I cannot attend her services as I have an injured rib due to a fall. I will miss seeing all of you celebrating her life. I am sending my love. Mrs. Edward’s was my second-grade teacher at Hope Sullivan Elementary in 1967/68. I have very fond memories of her. She encouraged me so much and made my 7 year-old self believe that she thought I was special. That is a wonderful gift. And yes, she helped me to become a prolific reader.
