I only knew Lisa for a short time thru Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), but I know she loves her Lord and Saviour and is basking in his bright light. Prayers going up for her family. Debby C.
My heart is broken, but I know Lisa is at peace now. She was one of the strongest people I know and fought a phenomenal fight. Now she can rest. I have so many fun memories of ‘Wallace’, especially her annual Thanksgiving and Super Bowl parties. But a memory that really fills my heart is this past summer when she came down to LeBonheur with a bag full of sausage biscuits and coffee for my family and spent hours hanging out with us while Adam was in surgery. Shelley came, too. It meant so much to have close friends with us for that scary event. Talking about everything in the world made the time pass easier. I’m still struggling with the fact she is gone from us, but she will always be in our hearts and minds and memories. She was a fierce warrior in her battle, a true friend, and pure inspiration. If any of us had one hundredth of the courage and positive attitude that girl had, we could make it through anything. Rest in peace, sweet friend. We’ll miss you so very much. -Chris Johnson
I’ll always remember and appreciate Lisa coming to visit me and my newborn son Charlie at St Francis Hospital. She’d been to an appointment with her orthopedic doctor for, I believe, a foot injury. How thoughtful for a busy teenager! She was in MYF at Colonial Park UMC with my older son at the time. Such a sweet young girl who grew into a courageous young woman. She will be greatly missed by many.
