I was in her 2nd period typing class. I was trouble, but she took the time to talk to me and show me how to type. She would let me come on my study hall to practice typing. She was so patient and kind to me. I still thing of her 50 years down the road>
I had the honor of knowing Linda as a Delta flight attendant. She was a ray of sunshine…always positive and smiling and beautiful inside and out. I will cherish our friendship always and know that I am a better person for knowing her. I love you, Linda. Please, RIP 🙏🙏🙏
Lynn was such a beautiful person, inside and out. As a teenager, I was inspired by my older, sophisticated cousin who always looked and acted so beautiful, poised, and kind, and who traveled the world. As an adult, I appreciated and was blessed by Lynn's kindness, concern for others, and extra effort in attending family gatherings, no matter how far away. Linda was such a good influence and presence in the world, probably much more than she knew. She will be missed.
My father, Linda’s Uncle Vance, took her to school on her first day of Kindergarten. He was so proud of doing that for his lovely niece. She was 10 years older than me but was always a kind, beautiful cousin and the light of our Aunt Mildred’s and Uncle Bill’s lives. I’ve always lived hundreds of miles from Linda. I worried after her parents died that Linda would be alone. I now know that she had a family that did surround her with love and support. Tina and family I am so sorry for your loss and so grateful for your presence in Linda’s life. I will keep you in my prayers and heart.
