Linda Holdford's Obituary
Linda Bailey Holdford, passed away December 24, 2012. She was born on January 20, 1917 in Wing, North Dakota. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Holdford; parents, Romeo and Nettie (Lind) Bailey; sister and brother-in-law, Jim and Elna (Bailey) Van Dyke; brother, Richard Bailey; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Helen (Palmer) Bailey; and step-son-in-law, John Grace. She is survived by her step-daughter, Margaret (Holdford) Grace; and step-son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Juanita Holdford; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and their families. She was a charter member of Cornerstone Church and also belonged to Oakville Chapter of the Eastern Star. Linda graduated Nurses Training at Trinity Hospital in Jamestown, North Dakota in 1938 and graduated from Anesthetics School in St. Louis in 1945. She worked at Baptist Hospital in Memphis from 1945 until her retirement in 1977. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1 p.m., Friday, December 28 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Cornerstone Church or Crossroads Hospice. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and relatives.
