As a school mate and friend of daughter Lee Ann I met Mrs Eason in 1980's in Sarasota. Florida. I had them for dinner when Mrs. Eason was in Sarasota visiting.
Being from Alabama we had a southern connection as well as a spiritual one and we began a lasting connection. Over dinner I remember Mrs. Eason defending Lee Ann when I made a comment about Lee Anns many dogs at the time. I saw the love between Mother and Daughter.
It was rare to see in my own family and friends. Lee Ann cared for her Mother for years, sacrificing her own life and career and struggled financially and physically.
A testament to love and being raised in faith. Just doing the right thing because there is no other way. Rare and unusual in our time of self centered people.
I know Mrs Eason is in heaven and Lee Ann is blessed for her good deeds.
