Dr. Lester J. Pourciau, Jr, retired Director of the University of Memphis Libraries, passed away on November 30, 2009.He is survived by his wife Rebecca Thomas, son John Pourciau, sister Gail Campo and brother Arthur Pourciau both of Baton Rouge, LA.A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will begin receiving friends at 11:00am.In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Page Robbins Adult Day Care Center (1961 S. Houston Levee Rd. Collierville, TN 38017) or Friends of the University Libraries (126 Ned R McWherter Library, 3785 Norriswood Ave Memphis, TN 38152)
