Sorry Clark, not Carry.
Sheila, I really am heartbroken too. He was a dear kind doctor and friend. I always thought he looked like Sean Connery. But he had a heart of gold that I don’t think Sean or Carry possibly could have. I remember you. You were always so sweet. I don’t think that I will ever get over this.
Dr. Graves delivered my first born on August 5 2001. According to Dr. Graves office, Nicholas was his last delivery before retiring. I loved Dr. Graves, he was a kind man.
I just found out about Dr. Graves passing. He was my doctor for many years. He delivered my first daughter in 1971, 44 years ago. On my last visit to Dr Graves we discussed how that daughter is now an OBGYN. He was the greatest doctor who I trusted completely. He will be greatly missed.Peggy Hazlitt
I just learned of Lester Graves death and feel very sad. He delivered two of my children and I feel that he was one of the kindest doctors that I have ever met. I also wanted him to deliver the boys because I felt that he was gifted in his OB skills. To be sure, I was fortunate to have known him. Rest in Peace, good soul.
I first met Dr. Graves at the old BMH on Union as a student nurse in Labor and Delivery in 1975. Always thought he looked liked Clark Gable. I was a patient of his for 38 years. My heart broke when I received his letter that he was retiring at the end of 2013. I thought who in his practice was going to see this old woman. He came to the hospital on 2/4/79, dressed in camo to delivery our first born. Found out later he was on his way hunting. My heart broke even more when I learned he had left us here and gone to live with his Eternal Savior. Les will truely be missed.
Dr. Graves was a wonderful doctor and friend. I went to him for forty five years. My heart goes out to all of his family. Diane TurnageGrenada, MS
I just learned of Dr. Graves’ passing. I was a patient of his many years ago. He delivered both of my sons now 26 & 28. He was one of the most genuine people I ever met. I loved his hunting and skiing stories. Heaven truly gained an angel.
BEAUTIFUL family….. How I loved this wonderful friend and boss ……………
