Fred Morton
Lee came to me as an angel on a mission to one of God’s distressed. I was campus minister at Murray State University(KY) and our building had been destroyed in a fire the winter of 1877. I called old friend Frank McRae and asked who could help us rebuild. He said he knew just the man–Lee Nicholson. He shepherded us through that sometimes tortuous process with exceptional grace as we sold the old property and set about dreaming a new structure which was and still is an incredibly beautiful facility standing near center of the campus. Lee was patient but determined as we saw it through to completion the fall of 1980. I will always treasure both the Nicholosons as friends in Christ. Fred Morton Clergy retired
