I am a goddaughter of Laura’s-Nancy Marshall-daughter of Frances Currin Marshall and Jack Marshall formerly of Dallas and now residing in Austin, Tx. I was saddened to read that Laura passed away in March. The announcement was in the Ursuline newsletter. Rosemary Matthews Hidalgo (Mozelle) also passed away this year. My mom, Frannie, and Laura went to Ursuline together. I remember my mom talking about her on many occasions and what a great friendship they had. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My mom passed away in April of 1997-also of cancer. My Dad is now 92. My prayers go out to your family. It gives me solice to know that our moms are now reunited again in Heaven.
