Katherine "Kaye" M. Cecil's Obituary
Katherine "Kaye" M. Cecil, 91, of Germantown, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick J. Cecil, Sr., a son, Robert G. Von Thaden, Jr., two grandsons Robert Von Thaden, III. and Brett Waldrop
She is survived by her children, Linda D. Von Thaden, Anthony G. Cecil, Frederick J. Cecil, Jr., Richard H. Cecil, Katherine "Kathy" A. Waldrop, fourteen grandchildren, Maleah Osborne-Taube, Kimberly Von Thaden, Nicholas Von Thaden, Amanda Taylor, Fredie Cecil, III., Hayley Harris, Brittany Cecil, Brandon Cecil, Jimie Cecil, Caitlin Waldrop, Blake Cecil, Matthew Waldrop, Samantha Waldrop, Andrea Waldrop, and eight great-grandchildren.
Kaye was a longtime member and part of the women's guild at Our Lady of Perpetual Help starting in 1977. She loved to write, cook, go shopping and spend her time with her family. She was also a big Elvis Presley fan.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, February 8 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral mass at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 8151 Poplar Avenue in Germantown. The burial will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis.
Memorial contributions can be made in Kaye's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
